DESCRIPTION

Itopia, a historical country home built in the 1600s on Jamaica's north coast, is available for short and medium term rentals year round. 

This beautifully appointed three bedroom home is fully staffed and sits on acres of garden.

Conveniently located with easy access to the beach, golf course and attractions in the Runaway Bay area, Itopia is ideal for those who want seclusion with the option of activity. Itopia effortlessly combines old world charm with modern facilities such as hi speed wireless internet and cable television.

Perfect for any artistic endeavour, creativity will flourish in the inspiring and peaceful environment that art director Sally Henzell fashioned for herself and her husband, filmmaker and writer, Perry Henzell.

Golf

Ten minutes away is the PGA-quality 18-hole golf course at SuperClubs Golf Club. This course has hosted many championship events, including the Jamaica Open and the World Cup of Golf Qualifier. Legendary for its breathtaking views of the Caribbean and fast greens, many have tried, but few have truly conquered this course.

Beaches

Also ten minutes away are two white sand beaches on Jamaica's famed north coast for swimming and tanning. The Runaway Bay beach and the Cardiff Hall homeowners beach. If you want to see the catch of the day landed you can visit the Salem Fisherman's beach just to the east.

Cranbrook Flower Forest

Cranbrook is a unique eco-tourism attraction located on Jamaica's north coast at Laughlands, just 15 minutes east of Itopia. Situated on 130 acres including 40 acres which are landscaped, this multifaceted property boasts exotic tropical gardens, lawns, water pools and a tropical rain forest.

Green Grotto Caves

The Green Grotto Caves just 15 minutes to the west of Itopia are among Jamaica's most prominent natural attractions. They are of international repute and have been seeing visitors since the 18th century.

The central feature of this attraction is the large labyrinthine limestone cave with its numerous rock formations, its stalactites, stalagmites and abundance of overhead ceiling pockets. The Green Grotto is 1,525 metres long and 12 metres deep and the subterranean lake occupies the depths.

Chukka Caribbean Adventures Tours

Twenty minutes west of Itopia along the main coast road is Chukka Cove which is home to Chukka Caribbean Adventure Tours. The most visited attraction in the Caribbean is only 30 minutes east of Itopia and is the world famous Dunns River Falls.
